starlings?

they are an introduced pest here and fair game. what is their status there?

 

protected over here now for some silly reason!

 

i know they are not doing to well in some parts of the country but there are clouds of them down my way!, they drive all the other birds off the bird table an feeders, crap every where and make loads of noise!

starling aint a song bird buddy, and they have not long come off the open licence!

 

i must have shot thousands out of the fruit trees out the back of my old house when i was a kid!

i remember shooting them when i was a lad, back in the 70s with my diana SP50!!

Dirty.......... maybe

Carrier of disease...... definitely

pain in the arse........certainly

To many of them in cities and the country.....without a doubt
